Thanks to the great efforts of the Berenthal brothers, now we can offer a luxury boutique accommodation in Vedado that features Kosher food preparation. Combine this with our excellent Havana Jewish Experience and you will have the makings of the perfect Cuba visit. An extension is available to Cienfuegos and Trinidad where you can meet members of the community there and enjoy the best experiences Cuba has to offer from dance, music, cigars, and cocktails, to vintage cars, nature, and adventure.
Jewish History and Jewish presence in Havana:
You will exchange with an expert at the Sephardic Congregation on the history of the Jewish community in Cuba, with a short tour of the Holocaust exhibit, followed by a visit to Beth Shalom Synagogue to learn of the work with youth and community projects. You will do a panoramic and walking tour of the neighborhoods in Havana where Jewish businesses thrived in the XX century, to be wrapped up by a drink on the terrace of the beautiful Hotel Raquel.
NOTE: You may also wish to visit the Jewish Cemetery in Guanabacoa, but please be aware this will add an extra hour + to your tour, as in the outskirts of the city.
